Role Overview: People Operations Specialist

Axle Energy is hiring a People Operations Specialist to own the hiring process from start to finish. This role shapes how we find, attract, and onboard new team members, working closely with our co-founders to meet ambitious growth goals, about ten new hires each quarter. The focus is on both speed and quality.

This position builds the systems and candidate pipelines that support our team's success. The right person brings strong operational and strategic skills, balancing hands-on execution with the design of scalable processes for high-quality results. Experience with Ashby is a significant plus.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full hiring cycle for a range of roles, from sourcing through to offers and closing.
  • Design and maintain efficient, scalable workflows while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify needs, refine job descriptions, and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Lead onboarding to help new hires succeed from day one.
  • Support the broader employee lifecycle, including engagement, performance, and retention initiatives.
