Your Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented People Operations Associate who will be integral in enhancing employee and candidate experiences, managing office operations, and optimizing our People systems. You will create memorable experiences that foster team cohesion, execute basic recruiting tasks, ensure our office environment is functional, and maintain the integrity and efficiency of our People operations systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking to evolve into a People generalist role, gaining hands-on experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, and culture-building at a rapidly growing company. This position reports directly to the VP of People.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of our NYC office to ensure a welcoming, organized, and efficient workspace for the team.
- Develop and implement employee experience initiatives, including onboarding programs, team events, celebrations, and quarterly gatherings that strengthen our company culture.
- Manage relationships with vendors for office services, supplies, catering, and event planning.
- Support People operations throughout the employee lifecycle, which includes onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate personnel records.
- Assist in talent acquisition activities, such as scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate experiences, and supporting recruitment processes, with the eventual goal of independently recruiting for roles.
- Maintain and enhance People-related systems, tools, and documentation to ensure organization and compliance.
- Act as a friendly first point of contact for team member inquiries and office visitors.
- Collaborate with the VP of People to research and implement best practices for employee engagement, benefits, and workplace programs.
