Role Overview: People Manager

Tenex Labs is hiring a People Manager to build the core people infrastructure that will support the company’s next stage of growth in New York City. This position goes beyond traditional HR. The company is scaling rapidly and needs someone who can act as both a strategic partner and a hands-on builder, someone who will design and implement the systems, programs, and processes that help high-performing teams thrive.

The People Manager will focus on several key areas:

  • Learning & Development
  • Organizational Design
  • Compensation Planning
  • HR Operations

This role is responsible for creating and rolling out essential people programs to help Tenex Labs grow from a startup into a leader in its field. Reporting directly to the Head of People, the People Manager will help shape how the company develops talent, structures teams, rewards performance, and maintains operational excellence.

This position suits someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, moves quickly, and enjoys building new systems in a high-growth environment.
