About the role
In this dynamic role, you will oversee the precise and timely management of payroll and benefits across the UK and Europe. Your expertise will ensure compliance with payroll regulations, adherence to best practices, and the establishment of robust internal controls, all while providing exceptional service to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management
- Lead the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing for all employees in accordance with industry best practices.
- Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to payroll and tax matters.
- Manage relationships with payroll service providers to ensure seamless operations.
- Compile monthly UK payroll data and accurately upload changes to ADP, ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare monthly European payroll data for the Finance Manager.
- Act as the main point of contact for resolving staff, internal, and third-party payroll queries, providing effective solutions.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax forms to HMRC in compliance with RTI requirements, including P11Ds and P60s for employees.
- Maintain a strong partnership with the HR generalist team to ensure accurate data sharing and information exchange.
UK Benefits Administration
- Act as the main contact for UK benefits, including those processed through payroll, the UK Group Pension Plan, and AXA Private Medical Insurance.
- Address employee inquiries regarding all UK benefits and ensure timely processing of benefit-related activities.
- Provide employees with easy access to current information and develop relevant policies and guidelines as needed.
European Benefits Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for European benefits, coordinating with external payroll providers to manage health insurance and travel expenses.
HR Projects and Team Priorities
- Lead and deliver on assigned HR projects and priorities, ensuring timely completion and proactive support for ad-hoc tasks. Identify and communicate any issues to maintain alignment with deadlines.
