Payment Operations Specialist 

Ebury León Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

The Payment Operations Specialist oversees the daily administration and technical execution of escrow and paying agency mandates. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, risk-aware, and adept at managing complex financial transactions while upholding rigorous compliance standards. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review executed Escrow Agreements and Paying Agent Agreements to identify operational requirements and payment triggers.
  • Monitor account activity to ensure all conditions are met prior to fund transfers.
  • Complete mandatory KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks.
  • Initiate both domestic and international fund transfers.
  • Conduct call-back verifications with clients.
  • Facilitate the setup of new accounts and ensure accurate assignment of account details.
  • Maintain a critical calendar and adhere to multiple deadlines.
  • Support complex payment operations as needed.
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies between governing agreements and payment requests.
