Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old (21 if located in New Jersey). Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance are mandatory for in-home services. Clear background and drug screening required. For BT applicants: Must attend a 40-hour paid RBT training course and pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire. For RBT applicants: Must attend the required paid training program.

As a part-time Registered Behavior Technician at ABA Centers of Virginia, you will receive comprehensive training, including preparation for the RBT exam through our ABA Academy of Excellence.

Starting pay is $24.15 per hour!

We believe in nurturing talent and offer numerous opportunities for career advancement, including pathways to become Lead RBT, RBT Supervisor, or even a BCBA. We also provide scholarships for further education, such as a Master's in ABA at Temple University, along with our BCBA Apprentice Program after 90 days of full-time work.

Your Role:

  • Assist individuals with autism in various settings, including homes and community centers.
  • Teach essential daily living and social skills utilizing evidence-based behavioral techniques.
  • Accurately collect and manage data during therapy sessions.
  • Engage in clinical team meetings and ongoing professional development.
  • Implement therapeutic plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Collaborate effectively with families and team members to ensure the highest level of care for our clients.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support team operations.
