Job Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated Attending Physician to oversee and manage the primary medical care for residents within our facilities. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary care provider, ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. You will be supported by a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), collaborating closely to deliver outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), overseeing their medical management.
  • Conduct patient rounds in collaboration with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care effectively.
  • Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while supervising the management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Engage in discussions regarding treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families.
  • Ensure accurate medical record-keeping and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Work closely with nursing staff, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care to residents.
