Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues both on-site and remotely, as well as carrying out cabling tasks, conducting routine machinery checks, and managing the equipment inventory.The position is based at Mykonos Airport (JMK).Key Responsibilities:Install and configure hardware, operating systems, and applications at the airport.Continuously maintain and monitor the airport's IT and telecommunications systems.Diagnose and resolve first-level hardware and software challenges.Oversee external service providers at the airport's IT & T Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Secondary Distribution Frames (SDFs).Safeguard and accurately log IT & T hardware assets in the local inventory.Proactively assess end users' needs during daily walkthroughs of the airport.Contribute to ad hoc projects aligned with departmental and corporate objectives.Stay informed about the latest technological advancements related to the airport's equipment.Be available to work in shifts.Qualifications:Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, preferably within the aviation sector.In-depth knowledge of telecommunications cabling infrastructure, particularly copper Categories 5, 5e, 6, 6a, and 7.Network and/or system certifications are advantageous.Proficient in both Greek and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong expertise in hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for systems and networks.Willingness to work in shifts.Completed military obligations, if applicable.Essential Skills:Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Strong collaborative spirit with a focus on customer service.A proactive, learning-oriented attitude that embraces the latest trends.Outstanding analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.Benefits:We offer a competitive remuneration package, opportunities for career development in a rapidly growing environment, and participation in our employee reward and benefits programs.
