POSITION OVERVIEW
We are in search of a skilled Product Engineer who will oversee the development and management of manufacturing processes related to our optical transceiver roadmap. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams to achieve product goals while nurturing a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Take ownership of end-to-end manufacturing processes: Ensure that all product, process, and material changes are controlled and adhere to established Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Lead responsibility for product yield, quality, and reliability, serving as the primary contact for product delivery to customers.
Ensure the accuracy of the manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) while driving product quality, operational efficiency, and overall manufacturing cost.
Analyze, define, develop, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, cycle time, throughput, and reduce scrap.
Monitor manufacturing test outcomes and ensure they meet compliance with specifications.
Manage product documentation and specifications effectively.
Work in collaboration with the quality team to plan and execute qualification testing.
