POSITION OVERVIEW
We are on the lookout for a skilled Process Engineer to spearhead the development and management of manufacturing processes that support our optical transceiver roadmap. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams to achieve product goals while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. A passion for learning and exploring innovative processes for high-volume manufacturing of optical transceivers is essential.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Define, develop, validate, and implement manufacturing processes for new products while executing continuous improvement initiatives to meet yield, throughput, efficiency, scrap, and quality targets.
Oversee manufacturing process documentation and conduct reviews and approvals of processes implemented on the production line.
Assume end-to-end manufacturing ownership: Ensure all product changes, process adjustments, material modifications, etc., are under change control and compliant with established Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Work in tandem with design engineering and contract manufacturing teams to execute, enhance, and maintain manufacturing processes while ensuring design for manufacturing (DFM) best practices are adhered to.
Coordinate with the quality team for the planning and execution of qualification testing.
