The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated intern to join our Manufacturing Operations Program Management team for a 4-month internship, with the potential for a full-time transition. The primary focus of this role is to foster cross-functional alignment and the execution of hardware programs from concept to mass production (MP) and end of life (EOL).
This hands-on internship is ideal for a high-potential new graduate eager to take ownership throughout the entire product lifecycle, including development builds, production ramp-up, sustaining operations, and lifecycle transitions. You will work closely with teams in Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Contract Manufacturers to ensure alignment on schedules, material readiness, and operational excellence.
This position is on-site at our New York City headquarters, providing strong visibility to leadership and meaningful ownership from early development builds through sustained production. You will engage in global meetings, support international suppliers and cross-functional teams across various time zones, and may require domestic and international travel of up to 10%, primarily for supplier visits and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
You will receive training to manage program progress from development builds through production and EOL transitions, identify risks early, escalate appropriately, and formulate clear mitigation and contingency plans. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment on milestones and deliverables. Additionally, you will learn to present concise, data-driven program updates to leadership.
Who You Are: You are a recent graduate, potentially with prior internships in manufacturing, operations, or hardware program management. You are enthusiastic about joining an innovative, real-world Physical AI company in New York City and contributing to the creation of cutting-edge hardware technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic team.
