Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year

Overview
As an Occupational Therapist at Gotham Enterprises, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients by helping them acquire essential skills for increased independence and safety. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient functionality, setting personalized treatment goals, and implementing effective interventions while meticulously tracking their progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations to identify obstacles to daily functioning
  • Collaborate with patients to establish achievable goals and modify treatment plans based on their progress
  • Provide targeted therapy focused on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), upper extremity function, fine motor skills, coordination, and safety practices
  • Educate patients on the use of adaptive equipment, energy conservation techniques, and task modifications
  • Guide caregivers with educational resources and develop clear home exercise/activity plans
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to productivity and quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver consistent patient care

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Possess an active Virginia Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain it
  • NBCOT certification is required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical documentation and effective time management
  • Experience in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), or home health settings is a plus; new graduates with strong fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply
