Job Summary

The New Business Agent position is a dynamic sales role focused on General Liability insurance. You will be responsible for managing inbound leads, underwriting and quoting policies, and assisting contractors through the binding process. Additionally, you will respond to inbound inquiries related to other product lines such as surety bonds and Workers' Compensation as needed.

This position begins fully onsite at our Sacramento office. After the initial training period, the schedule will transition to a hybrid model, allowing one remote workday per week.

This role offers a competitive base salary with performance-based commission for high-performing agents.

  • Base pay: $52,000 to $62,000 annually, plus applicable overtime
  • Performance-based commission linked to production—top performers can earn significantly above base salary
  • Total compensation potential: $76,000 to $98,000+
  • Uncapped commission structure
