About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Netezza and Gemfire Consultant to join our dynamic team at System Canada Technologies. This is a permanent position based in Toronto, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring optimal data management and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage your extensive experience in Netezza and Gemfire, with additional knowledge in Data Synapse being a plus.
- Perform thorough analysis of Gemfire schemas and Netezza instance tables, focusing on Security, Credit Lines, and Deal information.
- Apply your expertise in performance tuning of SQL and ETL code, crafting efficient and complex queries to handle vast data sets.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, PL/SQL packages, triggers, functions, cursor management, and exception handling.
- Utilize the NZSQL utility for effective data loading between Netezza tables.
- Update data models in Netezza and Gemfire to accommodate new changes.
- Design and propose effective Autosys job scheduling solutions.
- Conduct technical design sessions in collaboration with the architecture group.
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, fostering effective communication across all levels of the development process.
- Exhibit the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
