About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Netezza and Gemfire Consultant to join our dynamic team at System Canada Technologies. This is a permanent position based in Toronto, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring optimal data management and performance.Key Responsibilities:Leverage your extensive experience in Netezza and Gemfire, with additional knowledge in Data Synapse being a plus.Perform thorough analysis of Gemfire schemas and Netezza instance tables, focusing on Security, Credit Lines, and Deal information.Apply your expertise in performance tuning of SQL and ETL code, crafting efficient and complex queries to handle vast data sets.Develop and maintain stored procedures, PL/SQL packages, triggers, functions, cursor management, and exception handling.Utilize the NZSQL utility for effective data loading between Netezza tables.Update data models in Netezza and Gemfire to accommodate new changes.Design and propose effective Autosys job scheduling solutions.Conduct technical design sessions in collaboration with the architecture group.Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, fostering effective communication across all levels of the development process.Exhibit the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
