Our extensive expertise and strategic partnerships (e.g., with Arc’teryx) position us to launch the MO/GO, our first commercially successful wearable robotic device, and develop future Movewear products that will revolutionize mobility for millions.
THE ROLE:
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and innovative Motor Control Firmware Engineer to join our team. This individual will tackle complex challenges associated with the design and development of a new generation of wearable robots, focusing on motor control systems, novel actuators, and sophisticated battery management.
As a key member of our team, you will initially serve as an individual contributor, leading critical systems and collaborating closely with our test engineer and gearbox designer to optimize our powertrain based on recently completed EVT builds.
Key responsibilities include:
Become the authoritative figure for our mechatronics system, offering troubleshooting guidance and expertise.
Lead design and development decisions for product iterations and future systems, including battery and motor specifications, motor control chip selection, and firmware requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all components within our systems.
