About the job

About Us

At Sprinter Health, we are dedicated to transforming healthcare access by providing exceptional in-home medical services. Our innovative approach utilizes cutting-edge technology similar to that found in leading marketplace platforms, enabling us to deliver care directly to individuals in need, especially during challenging times. We proudly serve millions of patients across 22 states and maintain an impressive 90+ NPS, a testament to our commitment to quality and patient experience.

Our clinical teams play a pivotal role in making healthcare more accessible, connected, and personalized.

Where patient experience isn’t just a metric; it’s our standard.

About The Role

We are in search of dedicated and skilled phlebotomists and medical assistants to join our mobile care team serving patients throughout Manhattan, NYC. Unlike traditional clinic-based roles, our mobile team travels directly to patients' homes, utilizing the city's robust public transportation system to provide a wide range of preventative care and diagnostic services. Comprehensive training will be provided to familiarize you with exciting new services, including capturing diabetic retina images, performing ECGs, and utilizing digital stethoscopes, among others.

If you are adept at navigating the subway system, particularly the A and 1/2/3/4/5/6 lines, you may be the ideal candidate.

The successful candidate will possess prior experience in venipuncture and exemplify characteristics such as reliability, professionalism, problem-solving skills, and a steadfast dedication to customer service excellence. We are building a team of Transit-Pros, phlebotomists who excel at navigating NYC via public transportation. Our daily operations hinge on efficiency, route optimization, and real-time transit decision-making to achieve our goal of 8 patient appointments per day.

A car is unnecessary; however, the ability to effectively use public transit and navigate the city swiftly and reliably is crucial. Above all, we seek candidates who are warm, compassionate, empathetic, and genuinely committed to patient care.

A day in the life of a Sprinter …

  • Starting Your Day… Your day will begin by ensuring you have all necessary supplies and PPE to care for your patients.

  • Your responsibilities will include visiting patients, conducting tests, and documenting results in a timely manner, all while ensuring a positive patient experience.
