About Chestnut
At Chestnut, we are revolutionizing the insurance industry by developing the first AI-native operating system tailored for insurance distribution. Our mission is to redefine how the $1 trillion insurance market allocates its primary expenditures: sales and distribution.
Supported by a16z, we are modernizing outdated systems with a versatile platform that empowers carriers to automate intricate workflows, maximize their distribution budgets, and unlock new avenues for growth. We are already collaborating with major insurers, and our early adopters are witnessing significant expansion.
This represents a monumental shift in our industry. Recent advancements in agentic AI enable us to automate processes that were once manual and prone to errors. We have dedicated years to constructing the necessary data models and context layers to turn this vision into reality, and now we are scaling our operations with urgency.
At Chestnut, we believe that small, high-context teams equipped with premier tools can achieve exceptional outcomes. We exemplify the AI-lean philosophy: pursuing tenfold productivity gains that allow us to amplify our impact beyond our workforce size.
If the challenge of modernizing the infrastructure of one of America's most vital sectors excites you, we would be thrilled to connect. Whether you are enhancing core product experiences or laying the foundation for intelligent automation, your contributions will expedite a once-in-a-lifetime transformation.
