Key Responsibilities: Work from our Boston, Massachusetts office Handle a diverse array of legal issues relating to InterSystems’ procurement activities, including: Non-disclosure agreements Software licenses SaaS Agreements Consulting agreements with independent contractors and associated statements of work Hardware procurement agreements Vendor compliance with InterSystems’ policies Collaborate with the regional Legal team Ensure adherence to internal pricing, approvals, and other process requirements Support compliance with external regulations related to healthcare IT and data protection Engage in special projects as needed Qualifications: J. D. from an accredited law school with active membership in at least one U. S. state bar 3-6 years of relevant legal experience Strong grasp of SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, and technology procurement principles Proven negotiation skills with the ability to balance legal risks with business objectives Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Required Skills: Strong decision-making abilities, business acumen, and legal judgment Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams Organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about process improvement and operational excellence

Join our dynamic Legal team at InterSystems as a Mid-Level Legal Counsel, focusing on our inbound procurement activities. Initially, you will concentrate on vendor and supplier programs within the U. S., with potential to expand your role globally over time.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with departments such as Cyber Security, Finance, and Technical Services to negotiate and manage various agreements with vendors providing critical goods and services for our operations. Additionally, you will assist with customer contracts and other legal matters as they arise, gaining valuable exposure across the Legal team.
