Position Overview
In this role, the DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and maintain Knox's cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This position guarantees secure, compliant, and consistent deployments that support Knox's FedRAMP-authorized, multi-tenant cloud environments.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with cloud technologies, automation skills, and a thorough understanding of contemporary DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), observability, and security-by-design principles.


Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
● Design and manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP utilizing IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
● Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows through CI/CD methodologies.
● Implement and sustain GitOps pipelines to ensure version-controlled, auditable changes to infrastructure.
● Oversee cloud networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and security group configurations in alignment with FedRAMP controls.


CI/CD & Policy-as-Code

● Create and uphold CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
● Integrate Policy-as-Code frameworks (OPA, HashiCorp Sentinel, or Azure Policy) for compliance enforcement.
● Incorporate automated validation, testing, and security scans into pipeline workflows.


Observability & Reliability
● Automate the deployment of dashboards and monitoring systems to ensure operational visibility and reliability.
