As a Metrics Analyst, you will provide critical analytics and metrics support to assess the efficacy of the National Science Foundation's (NSF) communication, outreach, and engagement initiatives. Your role will involve gathering and analyzing data from various digital platforms, media monitoring tools, and stakeholder engagement activities. You'll be responsible for developing insightful dashboards and reports for leadership, translating complex data into actionable strategies. Working closely with communications teams, your insights will directly inform strategic decisions, enhance performance, and boost engagement across a diverse range of stakeholder audiences.
- Collect, track, and analyze data related to events, web campaigns, social media interactions, press coverage, and other outreach efforts.
- Utilize your expertise to gauge the attitudes and actions of policymakers, Congress, the public, industry, academia, media, and other stakeholders, applying your findings to refine communications strategies.
- Assess communication plans, digital engagement campaigns, and projects, presenting evaluation results in clear and concise reports for leadership.
- Leverage integrated program knowledge to support the analysis and reporting of campaign and project statuses.
- Review digital engagement policies and procedures, recommending performance measurement goals and best practices.
- Identify, compile, and analyze performance data across digital platforms to assist in decision-making, audience growth, and engagement enhancement.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations summarizing key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights.
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and digital media professionals to ensure metrics are effectively utilized in shaping future content and campaign designs.
- Stay informed of best practices in digital analytics, media monitoring, and performance evaluation.
