As a Metrics Analyst at Viderity, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive metrics and analytics support aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of the National Science Foundation's (NSF) communications, outreach, and engagement initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass the collection and analysis of data from various digital platforms, media monitoring tools, and stakeholder engagement activities. You will be tasked with developing insightful dashboards and reports for leadership while translating complex data into actionable insights.
Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with our communications team to ensure that our metrics inform strategic decisions, enhance performance, and boost engagement across a diverse range of stakeholder audiences.
- Collect, track, and analyze data related to events, web campaigns, social media engagement, press coverage, and other outreach activities.
- Offer expertise in assessing attitudes and actions among policymakers, Congress, the public, industry, scientific and educational communities, media, and other stakeholders, to refine and enhance communications strategies.
- Evaluate communication plans, digital engagement campaigns, projects, and products, and draft clear evaluation results in report formats for leadership.
- Provide integrated program expertise to support the compilation, analysis, and reporting of campaign and project statuses.
- Analyze digital engagement policies, processes, and procedures, and recommend performance measurement goals and best practices.
- Identify, compile, and analyze performance data across digital platforms to inform decision-making, expand audiences, and increase engagement.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations that summarize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights.
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and digital media staff to ensure that metrics inform future content and campaign design.
- Stay informed of best practices in digital analytics, media monitoring, and performance evaluation.
