We are on the lookout for a talented and driven MEP (Building Services) Associate Director (AD) to enhance our Scotland team. This pivotal role is primarily focused on MEP engineering management and leadership within the Defence sector. As the AD, you will oversee all aspects of MEP design, including technical specifications, quality assurance, programming, resource allocation, project delivery, financial oversight, risk management, and governance. Please note that security clearance will be necessary for this position.
Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating the design and implementation of high-integrity systems that support vital defence projects across Scotland. You will collaborate closely with AECOM's multidisciplinary teams, clients, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure exceptional MEP delivery. This role will involve engaging with a variety of complex projects, contributing to the development of safety-critical and high-integrity systems adhering to industry standards, defence regulations, and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate engineering production activities for Defence Sector MEP design delivery.
- Make authoritative decisions and recommendations.
- Establish and maintain communication with senior management within the company, demonstrating conflict resolution skills and the ability to negotiate critical issues. You will exhibit a strong understanding of project delivery requirements and work creatively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality technical excellence.
- Utilize mature judgment to anticipate and resolve both routine and unique operational challenges, define operational objectives and requirements, organize projects, and develop standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities.
