Qualifications

Proven experience in the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical structures, mechanisms, and assemblies for LEO/GEO satellites, small satellite platforms, and on-orbit servicing vehicles, ensuring compliance with performance, mass, and reliability standards. Experience in developing spacecraft structural systems from concept to prototyping and flight hardware delivery, under mentorship from senior engineers. Ability to design primary and secondary structures that withstand launch loads, including sine burst, random vibration, and shock, adhering to launch vehicle Interface Control Document (ICD) requirements. Skilled in designing spacecraft mechanisms and deployment systems, including hinges, hold-down and release mechanisms, and other moving assemblies for on-orbit operations. Proficient in the integration and packaging of electronics assemblies and avionics hardware within spacecraft structures.

YOUR MISSION

As a Mechanical Engineer (II-III) at True Anomaly, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing the next generation of spacecraft that will shape the future of space security and sustainability. Your responsibilities will span from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geostationary Orbit (GEO) satellites to small satellite platforms and on-orbit servicing vehicles. You will lead the mechanical design of flight systems operating in some of the most challenging environments in engineering. This is a unique opportunity to influence vehicle architecture from the ground up, transforming mission requirements into flight-ready hardware that secures access to space for the U. S. and its allies.
