Role overview
The Marketplace Platform Architect sets the technical direction for ShiftKey’s core products, including Acute Care and credentialing systems. The main focus is on improving platform modularity and reducing tight coupling in the architecture. This role leads efforts to keep the architecture consistent and reliable, guiding teams through complex logic and highlighting technical risks early.
Success in this position relies on collaboration and influence rather than authority. The architect works across multiple development teams, encourages clear documentation, and values engineer-driven decision-making. Strong communication and a willingness to consider diverse viewpoints are essential, along with a passion for solving structural challenges and building connections between teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define and maintain the technical roadmap for the Marketplace Platform, ensuring consistency across core products and future updates.
- Lead projects to improve modularity and reduce dependencies within the platform’s architecture.
- Work closely with development teams to clarify complex logic and identify technical risks.
Work environment
This position is based in the Warsaw Metropolitan Area. While there is no required in-office schedule, many team members choose to work from the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for collaboration.
Compensation
Monthly gross salary: PLN 26,500 to PLN 31,000 under an employment contract (CoE/umowa o pracę). Final offer depends on experience and expertise.
