Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 10-15 years of relevant experience. At least 5-10 years of experience in Real Estate Development. Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical operations and development. Strong background in construction management, vendor procurement, and lease negotiations. Ability to analyze financial terms of lease options and present findings to executive leadership. Proven management of vendor relationships, including real estate brokers and general contractors. Experience managing within new build budget parameters. Strong project management and cross-functional work group management skills. Ability to meet and exceed tight implementation timelines. Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time. Competencies:Adaptability to changes in the work environment and ability to manage competing demands. Strong project management skills and coordination abilities.

About the job

The Manager of Real Estate Development will lead and oversee the acquisition of suitable sites and manage all facets of construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that development aligns with company standards and market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engagement with real estate brokers to identify opportunities.
  • Conducting thorough site scouting and due diligence in alignment with market parameters.
  • Making final site selections and recommendations.
  • Managing project budgets and coordinating financial aspects.
  • Handling invoicing, approvals, and accounts payable processes.
  • Overseeing general contractor engagement and management.
  • Coordinating with architects and design teams for space planning, following the established playbook model.
  • Leading negotiations for Letters of Intent (LOIs) and leases, including legal reviews and financial approvals.
  • Facilitating the acquisition of necessary permits.

Construction Oversight Includes:

  • Project management and cross-functional coordination, including IT infrastructure, facilities, and local market leadership.
  • Working with finance, legal, marketing/outreach, and vendors on change orders.
  • Conducting site walk-throughs and finalizing construction plans.
  • Overseeing furniture placement and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects.
  • Managing signage procurement and furniture/fixtures, including clinical equipment and supplies.
