Join Arista Networks' dynamic Sales team as a Major Account Manager, where you will serve as the primary contact for our esteemed customers. In this role, you will become their trusted advocate, facilitating access to Arista's technical resources to help them achieve their business goals. You'll work alongside a talented group of Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive teams, ensuring that your clients receive the utmost support. Our collaborative culture emphasizes success as a team, and you'll report to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.

Your Responsibilities
We are on the lookout for a results-driven Major Account Manager to join our Sales organization in the Westchester County, NY / Fairfax County, CT area. In this pivotal role, you will act as a knowledgeable consultant, implementing strategic sales methodologies to exceed ambitious sales targets within a designated list of commercial accounts.
Arista Networks is committed to serving forward-thinking organizations that prioritize quality and innovation. As such, familiarity with data center solutions and technical proficiency is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surpass sales objectives and elevate the Arista brand within a select group of 15-20 enterprise and commercial accounts, focusing on new business development.
- Employ a consultative approach to engage with key client stakeholders, addressing the needs of hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems through our extensive product offerings, including Software-Driven Open Networking, high-performance Data Center Campus solutions (including Cognitive Campus Wi-Fi), AI Networking switching platforms, and DANZ Monitoring Fabric.
- Build relationships with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives to articulate Arista’s unique value proposition.
- Partner with Arista systems engineers to design and deliver compelling solutions that optimize total cost of ownership.
- Collaborate with technology partners to identify new prospects and showcase best-in-class solutions.
- Establish and nurture significant channel relationships within your territory.
- Develop strategic and tactical account plans based on regular business reviews with prospects and clients.
- Engage in demand generation activities, including happy hours, lunch-and-learns, and technology forums.
- Work with Arista colleagues on marketing initiatives and best practices.
- Stay informed on technology partner solutions, competitive offerings, and industry strategies.
