About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Retail Intern with a passion for luxury retail to join our team at Carousell Group. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of retail operations, including sales support, customer service, and visual merchandising. By the end of your internship, you will have a deeper understanding of luxury retail sales, inventory management, and the opportunity to assist the retail team with administrative tasks and special projects, such as in-store activation events.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Welcome customers, address their inquiries, provide personalized product recommendations, and assist with sales transactions.

  • Store Operations: Support the team in restocking shelves, replenishing inventory, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains clean and visually appealing.

  • Sales Support: Inform customers about current promotions, enroll them in newsletters, and assist in closing sales.

  • Inventory Management: Participate in inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and assist with the receipt of new deliveries.

  • Additional Duties:

    • Administrative Tasks: Prepare basic reports, maintain records, and support general office functions.

    • Visual Merchandising: Aid in setting up product displays, organizing merchandise, and planning store layouts.

    • Special Projects: Assist in executing new marketing campaigns, in-store live-streaming sessions, planning in-store events, or supporting online store initiatives.

    • Management Assistance: Collaborate with the retail management team, gaining insights into daily operations and strategic planning.
