What We’re Looking ForA minimum of 5 years of experience developing lifecycle marketing programs in a Product-Led Growth (PLG) environment, with a proven track record of attracting and converting users to paying customers. Strong analytical skills and experience with A/B testing and cohort analysis. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. Familiarity with HubSpot and other marketing automation tools.

The Role

We are seeking our inaugural Lifecycle Growth Marketer to spearhead our Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy. You will manage the customer journey from initial discovery of Comfy to expansion revenue, encompassing email campaigns, CRM nurture, free-to-paid transitions, upselling, cross-selling, and content-driven growth initiatives. Collaborating closely with our founding team, Marketing Lead, engineers, and designers, you will be instrumental in our growth trajectory.

What You'll Own

Email & CRM

  • Develop and manage our email marketing infrastructure using HubSpot — including list setup, segmentation, and deliverability metrics.

  • Create and execute automated nurture sequences for free users and subscribers.

  • Oversee lifecycle messaging for onboarding, activation, re-engagement, and retention efforts.

Free-to-Paid Conversion

  • Pinpoint and enhance key moments in the user journey that encourage free users to convert to Comfy Cloud.

  • Conduct rapid testing on messaging, timing, and triggers to boost conversion rates.

  • Implement behavioral cohort analysis to differentiate activated users from those who churn.

Upsell & Cross-sell

  • Create strategies for upgrading Cloud subscribers to higher tiers.

  • Monitor expansion Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and manage the lifecycle metrics associated with it.

Content-Led Growth

  • Design content initiatives (tutorials, workflow templates, use-case highlights) that enhance SEO, user activation, and retention.

  • Collaborate with the community and creative teams to leverage user-generated content for growth.

  • Establish a referral or community-driven growth model that taps into our extensive open-source user base of over 1 million.
