Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and SharePoint. Experience with building maintenance software (CMS) is advantageous. Knowledge of core building equipment maintenance: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Life Safety systems is a plus. Adept at understanding and interpreting Building Maintenance reports. Strong proofreading skills for documentation and spreadsheets. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Highly organized with a keen attention to detail. Self-motivated, capable of working independently and collaboratively, achieving results with minimal supervision. Demonstrated history of providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. Maintains professionalism in all interactions.

The Life Safety Compliance Specialist at Lincoln Property Company plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with life safety regulations by managing the documentation related to state and federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately reports compliance documentation to meet state and federal standards, ensuring high client satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Maintains and tracks compliance-related documents from various sources including Engineering teams, Property Managers, Landlords, and Vendors.
  • Utilizes Asset Management software to pull necessary reports.
  • Oversees the reporting cycle for Elements of Performance, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Reviews all compliance reports and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manages document submissions through SharePoint.
  • Maintains detailed Excel spreadsheets to track documentation status.
  • Interprets Life Safety and Building Codes effectively.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
