Timmons Group is excited to announce the opportunity for a Licensed Surveyor to become a vital part of our esteemed Survey Group in our Raleigh, NC office. This pivotal role involves overseeing the successful execution of various surveying projects and managing key client accounts. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced office software, modeling, and CADD technologies to manage and execute design-related surveying projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management initiatives
  • Drive marketing and client development while ensuring technical quality, profitability, adherence to schedule, coordination of project staff, and effective client communication
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate project scopes and fees, handle billing, maintain client relationships, and assist in fee collection when necessary
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and promote additional services offered by Timmons Group beyond direct expertise
  • Simultaneously manage multiple mid-sized projects, several smaller projects, or a single larger project
  • Conduct and oversee various surveying projects including ALTA/NSPS Land Title, boundary, route, topographical, construction, control networking, and high-definition surveys
  • Perform calculations using surveying formulas and skills, utilizing computers to resolve challenges
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Group Leader, clients, staff, and the internal design team
