Job Summary

We are looking for compassionate and insightful Licensed Clinical Social Workers with an entrepreneurial mindset to deliver therapy to nursing home residents in Vermont. At Ivy, our consultants have the unique opportunity to establish an independent practice while positively impacting the lives of older adults and their families. As a therapist, you will receive full administrative support and clinical mentorship. This role offers you the flexibility to choose the workload that suits you best at competitive rates. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular visits at assigned nursing homes to provide psychotherapy to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing home staff, residents, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Proactively follow up with patients to assess the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
  • Educate staff and families on best practices in mental health care.
  • Work alongside psychiatric providers to integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, prioritizing non-pharmacological approaches whenever possible.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Experience working in a nursing home setting is preferred.
