Job Summary
We are looking for compassionate and insightful Licensed Clinical Social Workers with an entrepreneurial mindset to deliver therapy to nursing home residents in Vermont. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits at assigned nursing homes to provide psychotherapy to clients.
- Collaborate closely with nursing home staff, residents, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Proactively follow up with patients to assess the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
- Educate staff and families on best practices in mental health care.
- Work alongside psychiatric providers to integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, prioritizing non-pharmacological approaches whenever possible.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Experience working in a nursing home setting is preferred.
