We are currently seeking a talented Lead Web Designer who will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging digital experiences that bring brands, destinations, and stories to life online. This position requires a unique blend of strategic insight, inventive creativity, and hands-on design leadership to develop web platforms that are both intuitive and inspiring. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build digital ecosystems that harmonize emotional storytelling with performance-driven design, ensuring that every interaction is crafted to connect, engage, and convert users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead web initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand identity, user intent, business objectives, and client vision.
- Design concepts that combine narrative-driven aesthetics with seamless usability, creating elevated and modern user experiences.
- Advocate for UX principles alongside the Director of UX, implementing responsive design best practices, accessibility standards, and scalable design systems for long-term growth.
- Collaborate with development teams to maintain design integrity and enhance product quality.
- Present creative concepts and rationale effectively and confidently.
- Facilitate live iteration sessions to drive designs toward approval.
- Guide partners through the digital landscape to maximize their brand’s online presence, including necessary accessibility improvements.
- Work closely with project managers and technical leads to synchronize timelines, capabilities, and expectations.
- Stay informed about digital trends, AI technologies, motion graphics, interaction patterns, and emerging innovations, and incorporate them meaningfully into projects.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our processes, elevate our craft, and refine team collaboration.
- Promote ongoing improvement and intentional evolution across all digital touchpoints.
