Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC seeks a Lead Waterfront Engineer/Project Manager to help grow its Ports, Harbors, and Waterfront practice in New York City. This position is based in NYC and plays a key role in expanding Foth’s presence in the local market while supporting projects nationwide.
Role overview
This leadership role focuses on the planning, design, and delivery of waterfront, marine, and coastal infrastructure projects. Projects span ports and terminals, piers, wharves, bulkheads, berthing and mooring systems, and shoreline protection systems. The Lead Waterfront Engineer/Project Manager will work on assignments across the Atlantic, Gulf, and Pacific coasts, as well as the Great Lakes, with an emphasis on building client relationships and developing the NYC office.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle for waterfront and marine infrastructure projects, from planning through execution
- Lead technical delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes across a range of project types
- Engage with clients in the New York City area to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with Foth’s existing NYC waterfront engineer to support both local and national project delivery
- Contribute to the growth and development of the NYC office and local market presence
