Role Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned Data Migration Lead to spearhead the comprehensive data strategy, governance, and execution for extensive Workday initiatives. This pivotal leadership position is tasked with guaranteeing data integrity, security, and relevance throughout the migration process.
As the primary expert on Workday data, you will drive migration achievements while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams. Your efforts will minimize business disruptions and lay a foundation of reliable, high-quality data that promotes long-term operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the comprehensive Workday data migration strategy, including defining scope, methodology, timelines, and risk management processes.
Establish and uphold data governance, quality benchmarks, and success metrics to ensure data relevance and integrity.
Supervise legacy data evaluation, mapping, and transformation in alignment with Workday data models and business workflows.
Oversee all migration phases (extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation) with stringent quality assurance practices.
Guarantee comprehensive testing across unit, system, UAT, and dry runs, approving outputs prior to production cutover.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, SOC, SOX, maintaining secure data management, access controls, and readiness for audits.
Serve as the primary data representative for stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and key decisions.
Lead post-launch stabilization, reconciliation, and ongoing enhancement of data practices.
