As a Lead Qualification Representative at Appian, you will be the initial point of contact for potential customers interested in our innovative platform. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with inbound leads, assess their business needs, qualify opportunities, and direct well-qualified prospects to the appropriate Account Executives. You will play a crucial role in forming a positive first impression and contributing to a robust, high-quality sales pipeline.
This role is based remotely in the Boston, Massachusetts area, with occasional travel for business purposes. Your work will be at the heart of Appian’s growth—addressing inbound interest, uncovering real business challenges through discovery, and connecting prospects with the right sales partners to advance opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Manage and meet a monthly quota of qualified inbound opportunities, routing them to the appropriate Account Executive or sales team.
Conduct discovery conversations to comprehend a prospect’s priorities, challenges, and potential fit for Appian’s solutions.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure timely follow-ups, clear transitions, and strong alignment.
Keep accurate and updated records of lead activity and qualification notes in Salesforce and Clari.
Assist in marketing initiatives through event follow-ups and lead nurturing efforts.
