Position Overview:
The Aravo product development team values meaningful contributions from all members in a creative, collaborative, and sustainable environment that offers ample opportunities for growth, leadership, and recognition. The Engineering Leader will enhance and maintain a highly configurable, multi-tenant, enterprise-level SaaS solution that incorporates collaborative workflows, data integration, and a sophisticated user interface built on a complex data model. This role will primarily focus on driving operational excellence and improving our team’s Developer Experience through automation, visibility, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advance DevOps practices by fostering a culture of change, collecting continuous feedback, and enhancing efficiency through automation.
- Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with an emphasis on engineering efficiency, quality, and security to accelerate deployment cycles.
- Collaborate with product architects and engineering teams to influence architecture and drive significant technology decisions.
- Create and implement a comprehensive strategy to ensure all infrastructure, systems, and services are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Promote operational excellence by implementing best practices for observability and incident management, establishing KPIs to measure effectiveness, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and requirements among infrastructure, tools, software, and SaaS vendors.
- Build, mentor, and nurture a team of engineers, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation that aligns with business objectives.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving customer issues, providing support for debugging and issue remediation.
- Engage in Agile/Scrum practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, while effectively managing project timelines and deliverables.
- Provide 24/7/365 coverage to support internal and external customers.
