Role Overview
As the KYC Operations Team Lead based in Madrid, you will spearhead a dedicated team responsible for conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks on our global customer base. Your leadership will ensure adherence to compliance standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), while enhancing the customer experience.
Your team will collaborate closely with our commercial, compliance, and product divisions, working with some of the world’s largest companies to maintain regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in refining the customer onboarding process, positioning Adyen for future growth.

- Lead the KYC process during the onboarding of new merchants, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Define and communicate key objectives, goals, and SLAs for the team.
- Evaluate performance metrics, track progress, and present results to senior leadership, being responsible for all team decision-making.
- Coach, mentor, and manage team members, providing direct feedback.
- Recruit and onboard talented CDD/KYC Analysts to support Adyen and our merchants' growth.
Location and Work Environment
This position is based out of our office in Madrid. As an office-first company, we prioritize in-person collaboration and do not offer remote-only roles.
