Role overview

The Key Account Director for Defence leads Ebury’s commercial efforts in the Defence and Aerospace sector. This position focuses on building and managing relationships with C-suite leaders, delivering tailored treasury and hedging solutions, and supporting high-value, long-term contracts. The Defence sector’s complexity calls for a strategic approach and a strong commitment to quality. This role also sets standards for the London team and provides mentorship to developing talent.

What you will do

  • Strategic origination: Identify and secure Tier-1 clients within the Defence and Aerospace sector.
  • Solution architecting: Go beyond transactional sales by providing advanced FX hedging, cash management, and trade finance solutions for long-term defence contracts.
  • C-suite navigation: Build and maintain relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Directors, understanding their financial strategies and risk management needs.
  • Sector advocacy: Serve as Ebury’s internal expert for the Defence sector, sharing insights with Product teams to ensure offerings remain relevant and effective.
  • Excellence in execution: Manage a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce and foster a culture of data-driven sales and strong client relationships.
