Qualifications

Requirements0+ years of experience in a GSOC, Security Operations, or a related role within the technology sector. Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Understanding of security systems, incident response protocols, and emergency management practices. Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions under stress. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present information clearly. Strong analytical abilities to evaluate complex situations and manage multiple tasks concurrently. Familiarity with security technology and software applications relevant to monitoring and reporting. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Control Risks is seeking enthusiastic Junior GSOC Operators to become part of our dynamic GSOC program for a leading global technology firm. The Junior Operators will be critical in protecting our client's physical assets and personnel through effective alarm monitoring.

This role involves a 24/7/365 operational commitment on a 4x12 shift schedule, requiring the candidate to work four consecutive days of 12-hour shifts followed by four days off. Shifts will alternate between night and day on a rotating basis.

  • Utilize various security technologies, such as CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems to identify and react promptly to potential threats.
  • Perform real-time incident assessments and coordinate responses with both internal and external parties.
  • Thoroughly document all incidents, including actions taken and outcomes, for future reference and analysis.
  • Assist in implementing security protocols and procedures as directed by leadership to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on security trends, technologies, and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve security processes and enhance incident response strategies.
