The Junior Data Privacy Analyst position is based in London and reports to the Data Privacy Lead. This role works closely with another analyst to help strengthen and maintain Soho House’s privacy framework. The analyst assists with the implementation and ongoing management of data protection policies, ensuring compliance with regulations in all regions where the company operates. Daily tasks include privacy risk assessments, handling consumer rights requests, and supporting contract reviews within the Data Privacy team.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and vendor assessments, reviewing responses to spot privacy risks and compliance gaps. Track assessment progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with updating and maintaining the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA).
- Work with other departments and projects to provide data protection advice and raise awareness of privacy best practices.
- Manage Data Subject Access Rights requests using Microsoft Purview software.
- Support the contract review process.
- Maintain a training and awareness plan, deliver training sessions, and monitor completion rates.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the privacy framework and help foster a culture of data protection across the company.
