Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline. Prior experience in automotive product development, especially in body, interior, or safety systems, is preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary and international teams. Technical Requirements:Proficiency in CATIA for 2D and 3D design tasks. Familiarity with engineering data management systems such as KVS/Connect. Understanding of project management frameworks, including PEP and AVON. Experience with engineering change management processes and AEKOs. Knowledge of validation protocols for functional and durability testing. Understanding of vehicle body mounting components and interior systems, including instrument panels and seating.

Join the innovative team at SEGULA Technologies as a Junior Body & Interior Design/Test Engineer, where you will play a key role in supporting automotive development projects based in Puebla. This position involves overseeing design activities, conducting validation tests, and managing engineering releases specifically related to vehicle body components, interior systems, and safety features. You will ensure that all design and validation processes adhere to established engineering standards and quality benchmarks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate design and testing activities throughout all development phases, including prototype, tooling, pre-series, and production.
  • Facilitate engineering validation through comprehensive functional and durability testing.
  • Manage engineering releases across multiple vehicle programs.
  • Monitor project milestones to ensure they align with development schedules.
  • Collaborate on engineering change management efforts, focusing on technical changes and cost-reduction strategies.
  • Guarantee compliance with engineering standards and design specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the integration and validation of body, interior, and safety components.
