Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Range Building:

  • Curate and develop customer-centric own-brand product collections, staying attuned to market trends, competition, and fashion forecasts aligned with our brand strategy.
  • Continuously analyze competitors to ensure our offerings are competitive across fashion trends, pricing, quality, and availability.
  • Attend relevant shoe fairs and fashion shows to identify and develop compelling product collections.
  • Manage and nurture supplier relationships while exploring new vendor partnerships to enhance our portfolio and phase out underperforming suppliers.
  • Identify and propose new product opportunities in the branded market to optimize sales and regularly review our brand portfolio.

Product Performance:

  • Achieve the company’s Gross Profit targets by ensuring collections align with margin expectations.
  • Meet seasonal intake margin targets.
  • Support our sales targets by selecting products that resonate with our customer profile and current market conditions.

Communication:

  • Foster a proactive working relationship with the Merchandising Team to promptly address in-season trading challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to ensure effective promotion of product ranges and timely updates on new developments.
