REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:Proven experience in the electrical, heating, and/or HVAC industries. Experience with building controls installation and/or maintenance. Knowledge of hydronic and/or steam boiler maintenance and operation within commercial buildings. Understanding of computers and circuit systems. A clean and valid driver's license is mandatory. Ideal candidates should also possess:Strong multi-tasking abilities and effective time management skills. Natural initiative and problem-solving capabilities. Exceptional attention to detail. A strong sense of ownership in their work. A positive attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs/Sheets. Conversational Spanish skills are a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Traveling Lead Building Controls Technician will be responsible for installing Runwise control systems and sensor networks in both residential and commercial settings, as well as providing exceptional service during follow-up calls.

  • Install Runwise control systems and establish internet connectivity.
  • Deploy wired and wireless network sensors throughout various buildings.
  • Conduct tests on control and wireless network systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Familiarize yourself with the layout of a boiler room and identify components within steam and hydronic systems.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling team to coordinate installations effectively.
  • Maintain and update tracking systems essential for managing customer installation information vital to our technology, monitoring, and finance teams.
  • Oversee the inventory of necessary parts within the technician's service van.
  • Willingness to travel 70% of the time across the U. S. - an exciting opportunity for travel enthusiasts!
