QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience with an A/E consulting firm is essential. Possession of a New York State Professional Engineer’s license is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software is advantageous. Demonstrated experience with electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, utilities, as well as communications, security, and fire alarm systems is highly desirable.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives in both independent and team environments, adept at producing high-quality electrical engineering documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as project architects to ensure comprehensive project development.
  • Lead electrical engineering efforts for multi-discipline projects across all phases including proposal, design, bidding, and construction.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure compliance and excellence in project execution.
  • Guide and oversee project tasks assigned to junior team members, fostering their growth and learning.
  • Engage with both external and internal clients to align project goals and expectations.
  • Conduct building condition assessments to evaluate existing systems and provide recommendations.
