Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of PADEP regulations, along with relevant federal, state, and local guidelines concerning hazardous materials.
The ideal candidate will be engaged in duties including abatement project monitoring, hazardous material inspections, and lead testing. Familiarity with mold and other environmental hazards is beneficial. This role offers an exciting blend of office and field work, providing an opportunity for significant professional growth.
Work locations may vary based on assignments, necessitating access to containment areas where personal protective equipment, such as respirators and protective suits, is required. Frequent travel using rental, company, or personal vehicles may include overnight stays. Job responsibilities may expose you to varying weather conditions, noise, heights, and construction site hazards. Candidates must pass an annual physical to ensure they can safely wear a respirator and may need to work modified hours as necessary.
