Your Role
In the capacity of a Project Engineer at Kiewit Mexico, you will engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to drive project execution, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and budgetary standards. Your technical acumen will play a critical role in coordinating engineering tasks, managing project documentation, and aligning technical solutions with client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop scopes of work, deliverable lists, man-hour estimates, and schedules for assigned design packages in conjunction with discipline teams and subconsultants.
- Coordinate technical risk assessments and ensure effective mitigation strategies are in place.
- Oversee subcontractors’ performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, reporting, and schedule adherence.
- Facilitate technical design conferences and conduct constructability reviews.
- Implement and monitor the Quality Management Plan for assigned scopes of work.
- Supervise project controls inputs like progress reporting and forecasting for designated work packages and/or project disciplines.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and proactively address discrepancies.
- Possess knowledge of close-out documentation from engineering with the EPC team.
