We are actively looking for skilled and ambitious Project Engineers across various disciplines to join our team in support of a significant, confidential BioPharma manufacturing facility project located in Houston, TX. This position may also be referred to as a Discipline Engineer, Construction Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
This is a prestigious, multi-year capital project that necessitates strong technical coordination, robust field execution support, and adherence to GMP-regulated construction environments.
We are recruiting multiple Project Engineers to collaborate with discipline leads and project management teams across essential BioPharma construction functions. Ideal candidates will possess experience in regulated project environments, with familiarity in process systems, cleanroom construction, and complex facility delivery.
This role is office-based in Houston, TX. Candidates should be local or willing to relocate, or they may support the project onsite with a per-diem package.
We are looking for Project Engineers in the following disciplines:
- Civil / Structural / Architectural (CSA)
- Clean Utilities (WFI, Clean Steam, Process Utilities)
- Process Systems (Bulk and Fill Finish)
- Mechanical (HVAC, Piping, Utilities)
- Electrical
- Wastewater Treatment / Water Systems
- Instrumentation and Controls (I&C / Automation)
- Life Safety Systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist discipline leads and project managers in executing construction scope across assigned systems or areas.
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment with project specifications and GMP standards.
- Monitor and manage scope, schedule, and deliverables for assigned discipline or system packages.
- Support construction planning, work packaging, and field execution coordination.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure constructability and compliance.
- Engage in change management processes, including reviewing RFIs, change orders, and assessing scope impacts.
- Collaborate with scheduling teams to track progress and identify risks to milestones.
- Work with CQV teams to assist with commissioning, qualification, and system turnover activities.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and site safety protocols throughout all activities.
- Maintain thorough project documentation and communication with stakeholders.
- Drive problem-solving at the field level and support continuous improvement initiatives.
