Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing physical security documentation using AutoCAD or Revit. At least 5 years of overall experience with access control and CCTV systems. Strong ability to read and interpret Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV system shop drawings and point-to-point diagrams. Expertise in AutoDesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office products. A degree or certification in CAD drafting, Engineering, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education. Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in producing construction documents for physical and electronic security systems. Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A clean criminal record, with the ability to access and work within NYS DOCCS facilities.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential as you collaborate closely with engineering teams and clients to create comprehensive drawings, specifications, and reports tailored for physical security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary project team to devise physical security concepts, strategies, designs, and documentation for systems such as Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, Duress systems, and system integration.
  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to produce detailed physical security drawings.
  • Generate schedules, tables, and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Conduct field investigations to document existing site conditions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends relevant to security systems to enhance your expertise continuously.
